I’ve been worn and worn out, tossed into spin cycles too hot, snagged by sharp words, reshaped by careless hands. For too long, I believed stretched and stained still meant loved. But I am not machine washable.

If you can’t handle me with reverence, leave me hanging in the store. Window shop if you must, but we’re not playing dress up. Period.
